With this fight, take your time running around the arena and dealing damage to him. When you see these form, try to dodge to the side as quickly as possible. He also has a holy attack, where he’ll lift up his mace and slam it down on the ground, creating five lines that come out from it. Since he’s so large, he has a tough time turning around to you if you move quickly around him. If you have ranged attacks, they’ll work well here, otherwise dodging into him and behind him while using an AOE attack can be really helpful, too. He has a killer swing (which he’ll do in threes), so try and keep some distance. He also has less health than the Lord Commander, so clearing him out before him will help you to focus on the big guy last.Īnd finally: the Lord Commander. Next in line should be the Devoted Champion, who has very standard attacks with his spear but does have a shield that he makes good use of. It’s an AOE attack that’s visible when he slams his staff into the ground, creating a damaging circle of lightning around him. The next enemy to focus on should be the Grand Inquisitor, who has a lightning attack that you’ll need to keep an eye out for. These will bring down bolts that can deal a lot of damage to you if you get caught in them, so try and move away from them when they appear. Alongside healing his companions, he’ll also fire projectiles at you and create holy beams that appear on the floor. Since the Sacred Physician can resurrect other High Council members that you kill off, it’s advised that you go for him first. The best way to approach this fight is to pick them off one by one. This is the High Council, and they’re really not thrilled that you’re here. This boss fight will have you going up against four enemies at once: the Sacred Physician, the Grand Inquisitor, the Lord Commander, and the Devoted Champion. You’ll know you’re close when you find a Healing Well just outside of it. This will unlock the next part of the Dungeon, where you’ll need to travel to the High Council Court. Once you’ve defeated all five, head to the Animus Urn and deposit what you’ve collected. They can overwhelm you quite quickly with their other Knight friends as well, so try and clear the room of smaller enemies first before taking the Revenant Knights on. Try and be quick dodging around them and utilizing any AOE attack you have (or ranged attack) to give yourself some distance. This is mainly because they teleport around, and oftentimes like to teleport right on top of you to crush you. There are five in total you’ll have to seek out around the Hallowed Cloister, and they can be very tricky to take down when you encounter them. You can take the bad with the good, but there is sooo much bad and only a minuscule amount of good.As you first enter the Dungeon, you’ll be tasked with collecting Animus from the Revenant Knights. Whatever that map is that goes in 2 or 3 directions and is ALL stairs and only has one giant area at the end where if you are lucky you get some decent progressĪny more I’ve missed feel free to add on to here.īiggest issue I have with most of these maps is the density!.Failmarch, yeah, it’s been named that for a reason.Pandemonium, stairs, walkways, walkways, walkways, 1 or 2 areas maybe.Cathedral maps, stairs, stairs, corridors.Keep Depths, just a different version of Corvus.Caves, a nightmare, nothing will follow you through a cave.Corvus, doors doors doors and doors, oh and some blockades as well if you are lucky.Sewers, good luck grouping anything together there.Spider caverns… walk for 15 seconds, find a small pack with one elite, then another long walk, some mobs at the end. ![]() I’ve just attempted around 40 GR’s today solo searching for a PB (over 300 attempts the last few days) and the maps are just awful.
